Animal Welfare Licence, renewed for the maximum 3 years.

We can not overstate the importance of animal welfare. The local authority do a great job in assessing and grading all businesses who are charged with looking after animals.

In 2018 new legislation was put in place to improve the standard around animal boarding, which we have all seen on TV, can sometimes be very below par.

These new rules have seen many kennels having to make quite dramatic changes to meet the standards set out.

Here at Crossways, as with some of the better Kennels, we did not have to make many changes as we had already gone to great lengths to do what we felt was in the best interests of our guests. We are so pleased that the new rules reinforce our own beliefs in animal welfare.

Here at Crossways we have an absolutely fabulous team (Darling!), the full timers having been here over 60 years between them, that is a wealth of knowledge and experience we are so proud of. There is rarely a situation that they have not come across, which has earnt them respect with many of our loyal and regular customers, as well as many of the local Veterinary Surgeries.

Emma and I would like to take this opportunity to thanks our wonderful team, all of who keep challenging the boundaries, making sure that every Dog and Cat get the very best treatment all of the time. We are so proud of you all, thank you!
